Austin Transmission Repair

Just recently had my 6l90 completely rebuilt and other parts fixed. This shop did a amazing job . Very pleased with the time frame to get my truck back .on the road. But most of all very helpful and knowledgeable with explaining to me the ins and outs of the transmission world… thx for the great job .

I bought a stage 1.5 4L60e rebuild from this place late 2020 and it didn't even last a year before it stopped shifting out of second gear. They don't provide a nationwide warranty so being that I had moved out of state they wouldn't do anything to help with repairs. Instead they suggested that I have my truck towed to them from Alabama so that they can make the necessary repairs which is completely ridiculous. I ended up paying full-price for another transmission elsewhere. As I stated before, Aus-Tex didn't assist at all and would only offer a small amount of help if the new shop would provide me a nationwide warranty. Something Aus-Tex themselves didn't provide me in the first place.

Great customer service! Very friendly and communicative. I had my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 transmission rebuilt and upgraded. Has been fantastic since. The even helped me diagnose some additional engine issues and most recently did some warranty work. Great company, would highly recommend. Love the pictures they send throughout the process.

Very good service and great work Pepe met me on a Saturday to get a input shaft saved me alot of hassle, also Been running one of there kits in my 68 rfe been about a year now zero issues still strong as it was. Highly recommend there work

Got a stage 1 6l80 with a 6l90 2600 stall dual disc torque converter for my 2013 silverado z71 I'm very amazed love it feels like I'm driving awhole different truck sure better than stock Peppe & his crew are sure great highly recommended for all transmission needs
