Absolutely the best! I have taken my car/trucks to Austex several times in the past with different vehicles. Each time they have treated me with great customer service and incredible value for the work they performed. This time was no exception. I always have a great experience at AusTex. Honest, fast, great work at fair price. I was having trouble with the transmission of my 07 Sportrac, I had my transmission re-built they charged me far less than anyone else would have. Not only that, their quality of work is backed up. Their customer service is phenomenal! Looking a for a great mechanic, AusTex Transmission is where I take my Grand Prix for regular maintenance. I have a piece of mind that Pepe and his team care about doing a great job and will make sure everything is running at a 100%. Because the company I work for uses them for all our company trucks, I was sure of the great service that they provided and most of all knew that Pepe and all his work staff are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about what they do.

I took a 2003 Ford Excursion with a 7.3L engine to these guys to do a pre-buyers inspection on it. They were very helpful and seemed to know what they were talking about. I did buy the vehicle and will be taking it to them for any repairs and maintenance that I need done. I am giving them 4 stars for now, only because I have not had them do any repair work for me yet.

These guys are the best, they have been working on our '89 Chevy truck, '01 Trail Blazer, '01 Taurus for years. The service we receive is always top notch. They keep me updated with the services, let me know if it will take longer than expected. And always when I pick up my vehicle it is always nice and clean. They have done transmission work for us and its always quick and they always work with me on payment which is a great benefit since that kind of job is not cheap. They always schedule in advance any tune-ups my vehicle may need and call to remind me of them to keep my car running along. All in all, I'm happy with the staff and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Pepe is the best transmission person I know in Austin. I highly recommend him. If you go to Aus-Tex, you can't go wrong.

I always have my Ford F250 Superduty serviced by the friendly, fast, and diesel knowledgeable staff at Aus-Tex Transmission. They do what they say they are going to do and let me know if there is anything additional that they recommend; before they charge me for anything. It is nice to have someone I trust to handle my truck.

The best shop in Austin by far. Had an anti-freeze leak from the heads, worst headache ever to have but Aus-tex Transmission fixed it the whole thing in under two weeks. Very impressed with their work. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

The best way I can describe it.....AWESOME!!! I bought a truck last October and I have had nothing but trouble with it. I finally got it to Pepe and his crew and now my problems are gone!!! The truck has never run so smooth!!! I was ready to get rid of the truck, but didn't want to spend a lot of money to only end up with another truck with another set of problems. If you want great service and your car fixed the right way, bring it here!!!

The blower controller on my truck went out (no A/C during a Texas summer is no joke).The Aus-Tex crew fit me in ASAP and got me up and running quickly.The entire staff were courteous & professional. These boys & girls have not forgotten what customer service is all about. As if that wasn't enough, the price was very reasonable. I was so pleased that I am returning to have them mount and balance a new set of tires. Super-excellent experience overall.
