Aus-Tex is the Best. As single mom with teenagers, I was looking for someone I could trust to repair our cars, without charging me an arm and a leg. I was so happy when I found Pepe and his crew. I’ve been a faithful customer for a number of years and won't take my truck and cars anywhere else. Aus-Tex has serviced my 1999 F-250 diesel and kept it running safely and in tip top shape. We have been taking our cars there as well. I trust Pepe to tell me what service and maintenance I need, not add on services I don’t need and charge me a fair and reasonable price. I take my cars to Aus-Tex for everything from oil changes, 30k, 60k, 90k maintenance to fixing tie rods and major transmission repairs. The make it easy to drop off my cars and they are always quick getting repairs done. If you need a reliable, trustworthy mechanic you will be extremely happy with Pepe and his staff!

It took a while to get the ball rolling on repairs for my transmission, but the main hang up was the back-and-forth with my warranty company. Once we got through that, it was smooth and quick! Pepe was very informative of how to handle my warranty company, and they were just as informative of how the repairs were going- texting me the progress they were making was a really nice touch I'd love to see from other shops! All in all, good and fair pricing and a staff wanting to help out, definitely would recommend.

I was having a transmission issue with my 2004 Chevy Colorado Pick-up - I had gotten two referrals (one from another shop - Rose Automotive up close to my house in Wells Branch) and from a friend at work. I found the staff very easy to work with and communicated very well. I am on the computer and phone all day so I appreciated that they were very electronic in sending email quotes and text messages with pictures.They kept me well informed during the repair process and send me pictures after the transmission was removed, then cleaned and then ready for installation back into my truck. They gave me several options on the repair and warranty. This is a total second vehicle for me and use it as a truck - going to Home Depot and moving stuff so I wanted to keep my expense low but get good work done at the same time. They worked on my schedule and delivered as promised which I greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Aus-Tex Transmission to all my friends and co-workers!

Austex transmission has always taken of us. The have fixed four of our vans. Every time has been fast and reliable. We know taking our vans there that they will be fixed right. We tried another shop before using them and had to take our van back several times. We took it once to Austex and they got us up and running without further issues. We are so grateful for Pepe and his crew!!

I had a fuel delivery problem with my 2004 GMC Sierra Duramax that was causing the engine to surge at low RPM. A mechanic I trust couldn't figure out the problem, and referred me to Aus-Tex. They were able to diagnose the issue in just a few hours, and while the repair was expensive, gave me a discount on the labor.Everyone was prompt and friendly, but most impressive was the communication Teresa, the office manager, maintained with me throughout the process. She texted me with regular updates, and sent me photos of what the tech found during the diagnosis, so I could follow along and evaluate the problem on my own end. Great help, and I'll be going back.

Great service! Pepe nicely explained the issue with my transmission on Honda Accord 2002. He was also very frank in advising on the repairs providing answers to all our questions with patience.Also, they fast tracked the overhaul to deliver the car before the promised date.I would recommend this place for all your transmission repairs.

Pepe and his team of excellent technicians have taken good care of my cars for years now. There isn't a problem he can't fix in a car with any year, make or model. Just recently my 2002 Mazda Tribute broke down at a restaurant. The shift gears didn't want to change and I definitely thought it would need a transmission job which can be very pricey. I called my technician Pepe and in just a couple of minutes he came in to assist my car and got it moving to his shop so I wouldn't need to pay a towing fee. Within the next two days he had my car ready for pickup. He explained to me that the problem wasn't severe at all and the best news to me was that I didn't have to get a tranny job! Aside from the towing fee that I saved, Pepe always offers very reasonable prices. All his jobs include warranty which he keeps his word on. I definitely recommend Aus-Tex Transmission! Once you bring your car here, you won't go with anybody else.

Austex transmission did an outstanding job fixing my 6.0 diesel super duty. These guys know diesel trucks and I wouldn't take my truck to anyone else. I strongly recommend these guys for any diesel work. Pepe and his team are trustworthy and knowledgable folks.
